Lyon to host BIO-Europe Spring® 2027

During BIO-Europe Spring 2026, held March 23–25 in Lisbon, ONLYLYON Invest officially announced—alongside its partners—that Lyon will host BIO-Europe Spring 2027. The event will take place April 5–7, 2027, at Eurexpo Lyon, bringing together leading European and international players in biotechnology and healthcare. This announcement was made in close collaboration with Lyonbiopôle Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, Métropole de Lyon, and Région Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes—key partners committed to strengthening the global visibility of the region’s healthcare ecosystem.

A milestone moment during BIO-Europe Spring®

Lyon’s presence in Lisbon was part of the 2026 edition, a major European gathering for industry leaders, biotech companies, investors, and public stakeholders.

The highlight was the official handover ceremony, confirming Lyon as the host city for the 2027 edition and kicking off a collective mobilization led by Lyonbiopôle, the Métropole de Lyon, and the Région Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes around this strategic event.

In parallel, ONLYLYON Invest hosted a “Choose Lyon” business seminar, in partnership with Business France, to highlight the region’s strengths to international investors and companies.
